Pastor Steve Barruel
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Pastor Steve was born in the Philippines and grew up in Pittsburg, California. He and Pastor Ruby married in 1983, and they have three daughters and four grandchildren.
He served in the United States Air Force for 14 years and the State of California, where he retired after 26 years of service. Pastor Steve was ordained in 2001 and has been on staff with The Renewal Church ever since. He attended and graduated from ministry school, where he mentored a few hundred students.
He is passionate about seeing marriages reconciled and people receive freedom in every area of their lives. He is an encourager that values relationships and connection with people.
Pastor Steve can be described as an “extrovert,” but loves his “alone time.” He is a morning person who enjoys a good cup of coffee and spending time in the great outdoors.
